Keyless Entry
Keyless entry can be added to any remote starter. This gives you the ability to lock and unlock your vehicle from the remote starter transmitter. Even though your vehicle may already have a keyless entry transmitter, there are still some very good reasons why you would want to upgrade your remote starter to include keyless entry. 2 Way Confirmation
When the vehicle is remote started the parking lights come on and stay on for the duration of the run time. However, if you cannot see the vehicle you have no way of knowing for certain that the vehicle has started. This problem can be solved by upgrading to 2 way confirmation. A 2 way transmitter will notify you after your vehicle has started, letting you know for certain that the vehicle is warming up. The transmitter will have either LED lights or an LCD screen, depending on the model.
On some 2 way transmitters, additional vehicle information can be displayed such as runtime remaining, battery voltage, or even the interior temperature of the vehicle.
